if its the wireless adaptor, i have had the same problem what you must do is go on your computer and change your firewall settings then you must let your computer allow xbox live to go through it. to do this, this is what i did, put your ip address in the web browser then it comes up your router options then you make xbox live a service to be allowed. p.s i am in ireland so if your in USA im not sure if this is what you do over thereCant anyone help???

[QUOTE="DarioD04"]YEP ALL YOU GOT TO DO IS RING DEMIDespite what you think, your warranty is not expired yet. Remember that MS extended warranties on all consoles to 3 years. So even the launch consoles are still under warranty since the console was released in NOVEMBER of 2005. Call (800) 4MY-XBOX now to get the shipment box sent out to you as soon as possible. It really isn't a painful process. Just be patient with the person on the line. Don't call angry because you'll just frustrate everyone involved. They've all dealt with the RRoD before so you're not the first one to call. Once you get your box, ship it out right away. I've done this twice unfortunately, but both times, I got a replacement about a week and a half later. You'll be fine. Just be patient.msjr78
well you get an extended 3 year warranty so you can get it repaired for free.well i live in ireland and my friend said it took his 3-4 weeks to get it back.he told me he didnt get a new one back,he got a refurbished one..i have heard that some ppl get 360's back that dont even workI have a few questions.
First of all, I'd like to say I'm surprised the 360 even lasted until now. I've had it for almost two years now (May 27th 06- May 11th 08). I decided to turn it on and play some GTA last night, when all of a sudden, I was greeted by the three flashing red lights. It surprised me, but I knew the thing would die eventually.
The problem is, I don't have a warranty anymore! It expired after my first year, and I didn't think about trying to extend it (if that's possible) because I wasn't having any noticable problems.
It just recently started freezing up, and sometimes the disk drive wouldn't open up completely and I had to press the button a few times.
So my questions are:
1) My warranty is expired, I just got the 3 RROD, and I'm in a tough money situation. Will I be able to get this repaired for free due to all of the complaints people have had about this?2) How long does it usually take for the console to come back? I live in Canada by Toronto. (I still haven't finished GTA IV yet btw)
3) If I do need to pay for the repairs, how much will they cost for a RROD type of failure?
4) Do I get a brand new console that was made recently (with new chips or whatnot), or do I get the same 360 back except repaired? I have heard terrible stories about people getting a new 360, only to have it fail in the next month or so (and then have to go through this painful process again, and again, and again with new consoles). I don't want that to happen!
