Thanks to everyone who voted, i went with assassins creed and went a head and got madden

@ZZoMBiE13: so far looks like i'm getting assassin creed. Since it seems like that's the title everyone think is better, or either need for speed but if it's between them two i'm learning towards creed due to lasting appeal.

@turtlethetaffer - I'm going to check out the rpgs they have on nds, one of the main ones i know of is fire emblem.

@good_sk8er7- lol, see i got to see as much as possible.

@good_sk8er7: Have you watched the walk through on Child of Light?

@turtlethetaffer: what handheld are you suggesting a nds?

As for handhelds if i was to get a handheld,it probably would be a ps vita. I agree with good_sk8er7 on the gaming session not being as fulfilling on a handheld versus on a console due to playing on a bigger screen. One game that i have seen that i'm looking forward to that is a jrpg is child of light.

@turtlethetaffer: Yes handheld are an option but in my opinion they are not as good as console titles. Less you can do with a handheld vs consoles. Dragon quest is a good one so is final fantasy but i haven't played xenoblade or radiant historia.

@ZZoMBiE13: Hopefully it keeps my interest like AC2 did. I'm mainly trying to have a variety of games sports,fps,adventure,i guess the only other games i need after these will be rpg and racing.

@Jacanuk: To me i like COD mainly due to the online gameplay, but i do agree with most gamers/people hate to admit that something is equal or better than another,especially when it comes to gaming which is kinda sad.

Since you feel both them aren't great FPS what are some great ones in your opinion?

@zijuun: Ok thanks i will have to look into AC Blackflag then, it might be the last game i pick up into future releases.
