This list has no place to be the best of 2007. I'm not a sony hater (I love PS2 and PSP, and I think PS3 has potential), but to say this is the strongest lineup is sad. It has by far the weekest and I'll show you why.
Haze:
Nice pic. Sorry you're using the 2006 one. Try a more recent one:
It doesn't look even as good as that. See the recent videos. It looks like crap. Haze is a timed exclusive (AKA not exclusive). It's coming out to 360 early next year. That's a good thing to seeing as we have to many games coming out and they can make this a whole lot better for the 360 version like they did with Virtua Fighter 5. Their whole "Nectar" system is a blantan, dumbed down rip off of the "ADAM" system of Bioshock, which will bodyslam this POS into the next dimension. I don't hate this game soley because it is on PS3, but because it looks sh!tty. Also, Free Radical is ripping me off for having this as the next game after Timesplitters. Give me Timsplitters PS3 then I'll turn my head. My Final Verdict: Avoid at All Cost
Warhawk:
Looks Ok. It doesn't have single player, so that could hinder it. It is being relased over the PSN store for 40$. 40$!?! This is like Shadorun, a rip off. It may be fun but no multiplayer only game can charge me more than 20$. I got RE4 for the Wii with 30$, and it will provide much more fun than this and Shadowrun. Still could be good. Final Verdict: Only for the Rich
Lair:
You made another mistake. An outdated picture. Here's the new one:
The pic you used was from the TGS 2005 trailer I believe. By that logic, the first trailer for every game should be difinitive for the game's visuals. Just like how Halo 3 looks the same as the E3 2006 trailer. Also, this game is getting killed in the ratings. 6.0/10 in EGM, a more Sony fanboy magazine. Shouldn't be the saving grace for the PS3 though. My Verdict: Crapload
Heavenly Sword:
Could be good. Looks like a great GOW clone coming from the same platform that makes GOW. Could be good. My Verdict: Looks Good.
Uncharted:
This should be delayed. Naughtdog should've stuck to J&D. Reports from people that have played it say that it is too buggy for a release any time soon. It has a broken Gears of War rip off combat system. Verdict: Unless drastic changes made, don't get.
R&C: Tools of Destruction
Keep in mind while I write this that I'm the biggest fan of R&C there is. I love all their games, and while I'd probably like this as a stand-alone game, it'll not do justice to th great brand of R&C. They seem to be cutting out some of the great part. No multiplayer for starters. Some may say that the multiplayer was not good but I say "F**K you!". R&C multiplayer was awesome and fun. One of the most fun I've had in multiplayer in along time. Deadlocked only made it better. And now they're taking a piss on the fans by saying "Sorry. Something as simple as multiplayer we have to cut out". Another problems seems to be that combat is more wrench based and less weapons. And the grooveatron can only count so many times!!! I want crazy action-packed R&C that made the games good. Also they said they where focusing on story. Big mistake. R&C has no need for story. When did it ever need it? The other games did great without a complex storyline. I want humor instead. Also, after seeing some of the cutscenes, they are obviously making it like a crappy Pixar movie in terms of humor. Verdict: Won't do the series justice. And why the hell is "Future" in the title?
Socom Confrontation (PSN ONLY):
Why does everyone like this game? I've played many a SOCOM just to find out why many people like it. I even have bought SOCOM games (SOCOM PSP 1, SOCOM 3) to maybe gain something from them but I have a one word verdict for you:
CRAP
All this will be is a recycled SOCOM game charged rediculously high with little to no new content, crappy graphics (I don't judge a game by graphics but for a console revened for its graphics is highly ironic), and absolutly no one to play multiplayer with.
Gt5:Prologue
Looks ok. It'll cost alot too. I've never played GT, so I can't really judge this that much. I heard it was a select taste, so it would be hard for me to predict how good it'll be. Could be great. Verdict: Wait and see.
Multiplats. As history has told us, 360 is better in the multiplat department. The score better, the look better etc., so these multiplats don't make me cryin aggony as you planned, you fiendish devil.
StrangleHold (360 has a demo for this and alot has been shown of the 360 version. The PS3 version will more likely not be as publicized)
Assassin's Creed (They showed off the 360 build a bunch at press events)
Merceneries 2 (Again, showed off 360 build)
Call of Duty 4 (There is a 360 exclusive beta, and COD2 was a launch title for 360. Who do you think Infinity Ward will focus on more?)
"what more can a gamer ask for???" Alot more.
-Fanboy
UT3:
Coming to the 360 in Q1 2008. The only reason it is on PS3 this year is because they are sorting out how to do the mods on the 360 version. So there is no exclusive content to the PS3 version. Plus, Sony has had to sent a team of developers to help them with their crazy CPU. Verdict: Nothing compelling. Will get murdered by Halo 3 and Bioshock.
Also, the other two consoles have quite the counter attack to that.

And the Wii has the Holy Trinity of Gaming, so that gives it a boost. Again, I don't hate PS3. I see that it will be a cult favorite like Gamecube, but not the craze of the Wii or the vast library of games of the 360. You can't win 'em all and I hope Sony has learned this. They should stick to making the games really good and stop this graphics craze.
