Lol, it will soon be cheaper than the Wii in US and Europe. Its getting closer. Nice to see Gamespot has started calling the 360 a current gen console after 3 years.
Looks really powerful but why would anyone wanna buy it now unless uve got money to spare. Just get an 8800gt. It has the best price/performance ratio out of all graphics cards.
The 360 screens seem to have a higher contrast value, thats about it. Were these tests done on the same TV? I hate having to install games on PS3 though. The loading time on stuff like GTA 4 are almost non existent on 360 so whats the point. I play all these on my 360 because I can hook it up to my VGA monitor but I know PS3 suffers from the fact that most of these games are made on 360 first and ported to PS3 so its not fair to make a comparison like that even if they look exactly the same. Its like saying the Gamecube has the same power as the Wii because RE4 looks the same on both.
I must say I expected better graphics (from the models though) from GTA IV after all the claims of collosal superiority of the 360 and PS3 over the PS2. Nevertheless the game is great and the car physics are nice.
Blah Blah Blah, May sound cool but where is Gran Turismo 5, god of War 3 and MGS4? The PS3 can launch a Shuttle to Mars for all I care. Mine has been doing nothing but play PS2 games since I bought it. Oh well, will just have to play a games console instead....good thing Mario Kart wii is coming out soon.
Will like to try Snake. In the next one, I'd like to see Master Chief and Goku as guest characters. Imagine blasting everyone out of the stage into oblivion with a super kamehameha (hmm, Samus' final smash is similar anyway). Which reminds me, I wonder if Sonic has his super saiyan form in the game. Trust me Gamespot, I think u've already caused enough damage to every Zelda fan by just mentioning the CD-i Link. I didnt even know he existed and would have rather not known.
Obviously, the PS2 ones look better but I am very impressed the PSP could push graphics like that. Its just a portable PS2. gOW 2 had the best graphics though because they pushed the PS2 so hard it was hardly capable of running the game (hence the frequent drops in frame rates). Ultimately, I look at Devil May Cry 4 and smile knowing that god of War 3 will look as good or hopefully better (since they should be able to milk the PS3 for all its worth graphics-wise by 2010) than DMC4. Cant wait.
