*I've noticed that trophies can add something new to the game, but take away something too. I would play even the epic MGS4 a LOT more if it had trophies but it doesn't, so I don't touch it anymore after beating it twice. Even the multiplayer experience was breif. Assasins Creed and Heavenly Sword won't ever be fully explored because, like a movie, i've already seen it and the experience won't be the same as the first, and the experience is all it has to offer. I sometimes even prevent renting a game because it doesn't have any trophies. Brothers In Arms is STILL sitting by the TV untouched, waiting for that "trophy patch". Worse still, I'm betting a lot of games that have come out , use easy trophy's to lure players into actually trying out the product (sega genesis collection for example). At the same time, not having trophy's can help a game because it lets me focus on the experience instead of an objective, making it more enjoyable. *I do realize that sometimes trophy's add more to a game by forcing you to go out of your way to collect or explore something that really pays off. Fallout 3 was an excellent example for those people who beat the game wicked fast and threw it down. Making players find all locations really paid off and if it didn't have those trophies, I never would have taken the extra effort to find those guns and area's that help made the game amazing. Will I get the 10002 kills online for Bad Company, or the Million + experience trophy for Resistance 2?...probably not but beating Uncharted on crushing and seeing that platinum pop up does give me a sense of accomplishment. By the time I've gotten platinum with a game, I'm ready to throw it out the window because of the forced feeling I have for playing just for the sake of that stupid trophy and squeezing every possible experience out of the game can sometimes feel rewarding and draining. So with all that in mind, what's ya'lls opinion on the whole trophy thing? Good/Bad explain.Ninja_Zombie83
i LOVE tropies it just makes me feel like i accomp;ished something theres a nice feeling u get when u earn a trophy and i am sure that many ppl here r the same and games without trophies i dont prefer to buy them except for mgs4 and more..... and i agree with u 90%....and i no that many ppl just buy games forits trophies!!!!! .......
