Thanks doublemintfresh, ive been doing some research actually, and overall, as long as u count with 1 giga of ram (667 mhz would be better), an athlon-pentium D for desktops, core 2 duo- turion 64x2 laptops, even though dual core is made for multitasking, there are some tools that help improve performance, and a decent card, with a balance between clock speed and ram, 128 and above should be fine, with chips like x300 (from ati) dunno about nvidia, u should run the games just fine....so shameel.....ur pc is gonna run the games...

Hey i got some questions, i know a laptop is not a powerhouse for gaming, but i just bought one with the next specs: AMD turion 64x2 1 gb Ram (533 Mhz..a lil slow compared to 667 mhz) ATI radeon xpress 1100 (128 Mb...x300 based chip) This laptop runs perfectly smooth painkiller, doom 3, C&C generals, codename panzers, WoW, and all those games at high resolution and everything enabled, im just having lil framerate drops with painkiller when it comes to particles and stuff...but ive been thinking if this is good enough for other games like FEAR and stuff, damn i want to play that game, and i was thinking if the counterpart by nVIDIA is better or worse, i think is called Go 6150 or something....any suggestions to improve performance? thanks.
