@heydink: that's definitely one approach to playing the game. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. or you can get gear in 5min and play aggressively, stalk and kill, repeat. that's the beauty it all depends one what kind of weaponry you have at the time and how you should approach the game. a silenced sniper rifle and silenced AR and you can basically stalk everyone from a distance and hold ground. shotguns and SMG's you can camp buildings and blast away unsuspecting foe's. i mean to generalize like you did can be said for anything and any game. "oh man, raiding in destiny, fighting the same boss mechanics and doing the same jumping puzzle over and over again falling to my death just to get an empty chest, repeat... no thanks" too easy.
@zanza86: you won't be disappointed. unlike games like dayz it doesn't take 30 days to find ammo for the specific gun you have. dying in dayz is so discouraging that all you're doing in dayz is looting and eating every 20min. ive never been that hungry in my life. pubg when you die its not really a big deal as it only takes about 5min to get full geared out. after that you can either stalk and kill or simply hide and survive until the final battle. also you can approach the game either solo, ins duo's or squads of 4. i don't see pubg dying out especially with how much support its already getting with weekly and monthly patches. the team knows they have something special here thats working.
@phili878: you're missing out on a great game. it's fun as hell and gives you that holy shit i don't want to die feeling but when you do you're like ah whatever, Q up again and try a different strategy.
@sealionact: for shooters. i'd rather play Destiny 2 and the next Battlefield on keyboard and mouse. i'd rather not get it on PC however cuz of the obvious hacking that goes hand in hand with PC gaming.
it costs what it costs and writing 100 articles about it doesn't change that. buy it or don't, i don't think ms cares. the question is.... will it have native keyboard/mouse support?
