@fedor: ThatĀ“s not a "flawed logic". YouĀ“re just not able to understand my point.
It takes a certain grade of intelligence in order to realize how a game without its "game breaking bugs" is supposed to be like and you also have to differ between "bugs" and how devs tend to just "fu** up" a game by making bad decisions.
So you probably talk about "fu**ed up game mechanics" but those arenĀ“t in fact "bugs" to begin with because fu**ed up game mechanics are there with or without any bugs and are as well based on how they in fact programmed the game to begin with, rather than being code-glitches they werenĀ“t aware of.
@fedor: Bugs are a common problem with most games these days and mags should probably watch it if they tend to rate down games based on their bugs, coz their general objectivity is getting flushed down the toilet that way.
If a game is bad, then it may be bad, but if a game is actually good but rated "bad" because of its CURRENT bugs, thats not an objective way to rate a game.
I'm sure it's a fun game but not worth full price. I've enjoyed plenty of games scored 6/10 from here.
6 sounds way too mediocre, meaning by todays standards that itĀ“s actually more "bad" while a 5 would already be somehow "terribly bad" and 3-4 being "complete utter crap".
On the other hand, mags should stop using those damn numbers anyway, no matter if its from 1-10 or 1 to 100%.
It is an outdated way of "reviewing" games while giving "wrong" impressions, set by certain standards as iĀ“ve just mentioned above, like 6 meaning something like "good" ten years ago maybe, where we had different standards.
@fedor: The part where he sums up "The Bad" while i was kinda shocked that "bugs" seem to be such an issue these days with actually 90% of games today being plagued with bugs on day 1.
So will this guy mention every and each kind of bug games are suffering today, or was this just an exclusive case here with this one?
Or does this gamespot-guy here always gets an exclusive pre-patched-up version already being patched to the best version somehow, and this is why he mentions bugs while also carrying that point over to his review-total?
If he reviews this game when it is patched, will he give it a 7 or 8 then?
@ironhorse89: People need to watch real life drama of other people to make their own sad and sorry lifes feel a little less dramatic and as a matter of fact "feeling happy" again.
So of course, when they watch a fantasy show then, it must be dramatic as that real-life-drama so this dragon-garbage is just another DRAMA-QUEEN all those drama-lovers just luv so much!
