This is precisely why I've called for game journalists to actively go after companies for this sort of crap. You just know that Infinite Warfare and the remaster will both suck ass because each year Activision just hires on of its lazy developers to copy and paste the same old crap, give it a lick of fresh paint, and ignore all the problems that the franchise has had for years. Nothing will change.
@Sevenstorms: You can't possibly determine that from a bunch of FMV scenes that may or may not be in the game. There is no gameplay here, nor any gameplay information.
@Gravity_Slave: It'll just be the same broken rubbish they release every year. We know it, they know it.
And it will sell. The market for thsi game is just a bunch of twitch kids. That's who buys it, that's who will scream and shout if they fix quickscoping or get rid of stupid airstrikes (earned thru cheating and lame tactics btw). There is no incentive within this market to change and so the industry collapses in on itself.
Gaming is pretty much dead on the console (at least)
@Tekarukite: I woudln't mind the futuristic crap if it actually was futuristic and not just stupid reskins of the same old rubbish plus infinite jumping. The jumping broke BO3, the specialists are crap and the guns are the same rubbish as before. Where is the futuristic tech? Where is the cyber warfare? imagin how awesome a game with all that could be? But no, it's another nest of shrill kids who's stupid parents buy them this crap insread of a babysitter
This is 2016 and the best this bereft industry can manage is...a remaster of a ten year old fps.
Wow.
Never mind that they've been 'remastering' this crap each year since then by reskinning the exact same game design over and over, maybe offering as a sop the odd superficial gimmick - look this year you can jump ten feet into the air and **** up the aim assist that everyone uses to cheat online! Hooray!
So now that you lazy bastards have reported this 'news', what are you going to do about it? Nothing. You wont' question the crappy net code, the inevitable lag and the fact this will likely be another overpriced pile of BS that we have to also pay to play online. None of these things ever get questioned, but that's ok - gotta love clickbait, which is all that's left of game journalism.
