@MVan86 @utterlyotter @wexorian If you´re told - again and again - that you´ll be testing a Ferrari and they finally roll out a Chrysler Cruiser, then that should be taken into account. It´s a question of honesty and integrity in regards to the consumer imo.
@MVan86 @wexorian Several wrongs doesn´t make a right.
Maybe, just maybe they´re finally getting the pixiedust out of their eyes and will start being more thoughtful in their reviews instead of (some of them) happily continuing to uncritically suckle from the teats of the big publishers?
@iaingray @lilflipp @kwangtungtiger @crusaderprophet Games, like everything else, should of course be reviewed as is, you can´t take vague promises about possible future content/development into account, that´s absolutely ridiculous.
We were promised a luscious banquet with tables groaning with food but were given a Big Mac.
Nothing wrong with a Big Mac but..
It´s, at this stage, hard to draw any other conclusion than that the Publishers knowingly and consciously lied.
Wich really isn´t something they should get away with scot free, it sets a bad example to put it mildly and is something we´ve been seeing more of lately, or so it seems.
Maybe things will change and it´ll become a great game eventually, but their businessmodel sucks and shows very little respect for the gamingcommunity imo. Not very smart.
