I saw an interview once with a veteran from WWII that helped advise for Medal of Honor Pacific Assault and he said when he played the game on the hardest setting it was harder than real life. I'd like to think that one round of 30-06 to the chest would pretty much disable anyone fighting in that era, if not kill him altogather. Some games are too real, to the point that they are a bore. Full Spectrum Warrior comes to mind, after all thats why we game right? Cause real life is so much more boring.
Yes all factions have nukes but the UEF commander has special nuke abilities, the Cybran are too weak for me, no mobile shield generator and all their units seem fragile, plus they are energy whores, Aeon looks the best for sure, but i think UEF has the advantage with it's tough units and that unstoppable experimental artillery piece.
You will find a much greater variety of game types availiable for the PC, including older titles. Plus the wii is just a duckhunt or superscope on steroids anyway, don't belive the hype. Consoles come and go, but the PC has staying power.
I have played both of those games and I would have to recommend Half Life 2. It's great because it continues the story from the original, and it's so interactive. Company of Heroes was very impressive but it seemed rather simplistic, like every game was the same. It just wasn't intruiging after a while. Your best bet is probably Half-Life 2.
