I mean think about it he's a 10,17,9 year old who goes around slashing bad guys with super awesome to the awesome sword skills, he carries awesome items, most of which in some games are only used once then are referred to as baggage, and he carries a bit of magic that really only hurts Ganondorf a little well except for the light arrows , those arrows were made by Jesus himself.
Nintendo has just confirmed that a futuristic Zelda is in development, it will have gunswords, Hand Grenades/ Deku Bombs, Beam Swords, Space ships, and much more. Release date is April 1st 2009[ this should mean something to some people].
It's fading away right now because of Third Party developers are giving us gamers unoriginal games that all have these things in common blood, guns, explosions, gore, and some kind of event related to multiple forms of Terrorism.
Now there are some original third party games that scream creativity but the thing is that number is small.
Now the Wii is another storie as Wii games creativity aren't fading away....
What if we had a Zelda game that fell under Horror action? Seriously Ganondorf need's a new recipe for his minions. I think that this idea would bring more people to Zelda because remember in the Shadow Temple it said Hyrule had a Blood Stained past maybe we can bring that into a game but make it horror based where you use action to take down monsters.
