Your CPU is fine, your Ram is fine, OS, etc. The problem, the 9800GT, even tho a alright card for light to mid gaming. You need a better more up to to date Video card. My advice, by a GTX 2GB 550ti or 6850.

I don't believe there is a limit. I am using a 2400HD right now and the performance in gaming , and i also have a 8400gs, slight bottleneck because its bad to use a 8400gs + nforce drivers together. But if you use the 8400gs and not have the nforce drivers install, everything is pretty good, even tho i have notice my 2400HD is way more powerful than my 8400gs. So if you buy a 8400gs, its wise to get the EVGA version, the stats are better than my BFG. Anyway, people who still make pci carefully make so they won't limit anything. The stats for these pci cards are not extreme if you notice.

Well keep in mind, people still use PCI, like myself. Also, they have the 8 series in pci bus too, they are selling real good around the world.

This card needs a power connector too *****

512 MB DDR2 Per GPU
1GB Total Onboard

4 VGA Outputs

Interesting, but a 6200 / 230 bucks?

Would of been better if it was a 9 series pci or 8600gt at 80 bucks. I would of bough it.

I am very soon, with PCI-ex16 or 2.0 slots, 300-450watts PSU, Intel motherboard, Gateway , intel duo core or whatever, no sli or crossfire, diamond GPU, 80HD and i will add other stuff if needed. I am buying this computer, as my secondary computer for the newer stuff. Plan to buy it in a few weeks.

This rig which i am using now is my main computer for older games and kinda new ones.

peace

TC, they also sell the 8600GT PCI, so if you can't upgrade your Mobo, get that. Best PCI card ever made.jasper061992

The 8600GT is not out yet for PCI. And just a update for everyone, the 8400GS is weaker then the 2400 HD PCI card and the 2400 HD is crap. I went back to using my BFG Geforce 6200 oc PCI card and the performance puts both the 8400GS and damn sure the 2400 HD to shame.

Even tho the 6200 is great, i am looking for a upgrade to it, so i will be buying the HIS or Diamond X1550 and 8500GT PCI card for testing.
