[QUOTE="twitchscb"]

This is easily my most anticipated game of the year... It is a RPS (Role Playing Shooter) basically a hybrid of first person shooters such as Call of Duty or Halo with heavy RPG elements for character advancement and customization, as well as a heavy emphasis on Hack n' Slash Loot games such as Diablo or Wow.. The story goes that you are one of four treasure hunters on an abandoned alien planet in search of a rumored alien vault that holds limitless treasure as well as secret alien weaponry... It has a very strong emphasis on Co-op gameplay (both online and offline) and has a near limitless amount of guns and items to pick up...

The way they have so many guns is that they actually created an AI that randomly generates guns acting as certain gun manufacturing companies throughout the giant open world of the game... Each manufacturer uses certain materials, and each have their own distinct styles and specializations... It is an open-world game and throughout it you will take quests from people in towns throughout the world... There's suppose to be about 40-50 quest missions and about 110-130 side missions varying in time and difficulty... Like I said earlier this is the game I am most excited for I've been waiting for this one for well over a year now, and the new art style just makes me want Oct. 20th to come that much sooner

-Hoax-

Thanks for the Info when did they change the graphics for this game. Im loving the art style. :)

Earlier this year... A lot of the fans complained because it was a realistic dark post-apocalyptic feeling style... I'm glad they changed it, this game is suppose to have an underlying sense of humor and the art style definitely keeps that up a bit... Plus you can only have so many realistic shooter flooding the market, I don't see why people complain about something new and original

[QUOTE="marcl18123"] u think thats creepy, try gettin hit on thru a PSN message........marcl18123

really? it happend to you? :o

yeah....:cry: My PSN name is xxAngealxx (maybe thats why?idk?),but i got spammed askin my age and stuff and am i hot, and to send a pick.....strangers are creepy...(this happened more then once too) :cry:

My fiance gets hit on all the time... She normally just sets up a party on Xbox Live and sits in it by herself so she doesn't have to listen to all the kids ask her if she's hott or how old she is... Works out though, cuz when any of her friends get on they can just hop into the already created party... She just never uses the headset when playing on the PS3 and mutes anyone that starts hitting on her

I get them all the time in UFC undisputed that say I cheat... I don't know why... I've never modded a single game in my life and I've never once quit out of a match in UFC even when I do lose I just am glad I fought someone that was a challenge... Unless they have like 115 on all of their skills then i scowl angrily at my TV... That's as close to sending a hate message as I get though

Flying armbars work pretty well for getting submission of the night... I've only gotten two in all the submissions I've done... One was a flying armbar and one was in the fourth round after getting my a$$ handed to me for quite some time from Noguera... So I'd say stick with the higher level BJJ submissions or try rope-a-doping for a comeback kill... That's just my experience though I can't tell you if that's how the game is set up to read them

Only one I might buy is Bad Company 2. I'll rent Borderlands. :( Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2 and Red Dead Redemption were the biggest losses for me. :( Stoopid 2010 delays...

raven_squad

Borderlands is the only game I'm planning on buying in the near future... Everything else is chucked onto my Gamefly que

The last I heard of a patch for the UFC game was it was suppose to add a loss to anyone who quits out of a match early... As well as give a DNF (Did Not Finish) to them, this DNF will keep a percentage of all their matches and will display it in the match lobby so people can see if their the types of losers that quit out to save their record... The other thing I think that was getting worked on was the ability to submit computer opponents in Career mode, seeing as it took forever to wear them down and then it was just a matter of luck if you could do it... Also I think that this patch fixed all the people that were stat modding their characters and getting like 110's in all of their attributes, if I'm not mistaken all previous characters that are already made will be banned from online use and I *think* it might reset the records of all offenders...

Hadn't heard anything about this patch for quite some time now, so I'm not sure if all these things are already out or even if this patch includes them... I haven't played UFC for quite some time because of how frustrating the online was with all the quitters, but if this is the long lost patch it just may be time to start it up again

Yeah, I played it pretty non-stop for a while... Didn't really feel like spending money on the first map pack... And online shooters go downhill once you don't have the up to date map packs, so it's pretty much collecting dust at the moment... Still need to get around to finishing up the single player
