First of all guys console shipment numbers are different from console sales numbers, you do know that right? Check out http://www.vgchartz.com/ to see the current sales of the systems right there on the front page, hint Xbox is still on top.

Even Sony representatives have said this last generation (PS3) was a disappointment. You have to be in denial to not see that. If you would have told Sony back in 2006 that in 2013 your console will be basically tied with Microsoft's console in install base, do you think they would say "SWEET THAT'S A MAJOR SUCCESS" ? No I don't think so...... Hands down Xbox won the fight of that generation they stole Sony's thunder. And if the PS3 didn't have a blu-ray player built in they would have totally got smashed that gen, that was a huge selling point for them.

The Xbox launching early was a strategic move and one of the best things Microsoft did, you guys act like it's bad. Yeah Xbox 360 had a year advantage on PS3 but the PS3 had all the power coming into that generation you know, the Generation before they had something called the PS2 you know right? Who would have guess Microsoft would have knocked down the Sony Playstation that well from the Juggernaut it was? Plus guys let's not forget the PS3 had something very big going for also in that it was a Blu Ray player, you know that helped sales a lot, what if it was not a Blu Ray player, how much less would it have sold?

I would say Microsoft Victory lol

Listen here PS3 nerds, shipments are NOT the same as a system being sold. The Xbox 360 has still sold 1.8 million more units than the PS3 at this point to consumers, check out vgchartz for proof.

And even if the PS3 had sold a bit more than the 360 at this point, clearly that still makes the PS3 a big failure for Sony this generation (and would make this merely a moral victory), do I really need to go into detail as to why that is?
