Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me.

Was at around 94% completion of the single player mode, just working through the last few cars as well to get the trophy for winning every race with every car.

I got busted by the cops and then when it sends you back to the car screen where you start the engine and drive off, it froze.

Reset the PS3 and started the game back up and it had completely wiped my save and started over at the beginning. Of course it autosaves as well so couldn't get at the old data anymore.

Ridiculous bug that means you've gotta start all over again and I really can't be arsed. Shame as well because I love the game.

I've had an account with them for years but never bought anything from then or even put any credit/debit card details in.

Noticed a game was cheapest on there so tried adding details and it won't let me add a new card because one of the sections is blanked out.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried to do this recently and had the same issue? Tried it on both Safari and Chrome so it's not the browser I'm using. Can't think of anything else that would be stopping it.

Mods if this is the wrong section then I apologise, feel free to move it.

BF3 just doesn't cut it for me in the slightest, too many things they changed since BC2 have made the game worse and I really miss spendng hours at a time on Panama Canal, Arica Harbor, etc.

Only problem being I traded it in for BF3 because the chances of getting a decent game on BC2 were seriously slim near the end, hardly anyone in games and of course it would've gotten worse since the new game came out.

Just wondering if anyone has played it recently and seen a resurgence in popularity, or if there's a bunch of here that play it still?

Anyone else noticed that they've removed the ability to download the free games?

When you click on the welcome back bit on the store home page, it shows the Welcome Back bit at the top on the left, then the five free games underneath, but you can't click on them.

The only selection you have in the boxes on the right is the Plus stuff which takes you through to that part of the store.

I managed to download inFamous last night but I hope it allows me to get something else, I want Dead Nation out of this.

Just thinking really.

Everyone knows of the blockbuster games with high ratings like the GTA/Uncharted/MGS/any EA Sports franchise/etc and most people have bought them, but what of the great games that people missed out on that should really have done a lot better.

I'd love to try something new and it's been forever since I bought a new game, even longer since I bought one that wasn't an obvious choice.

Last I can really think of that I bought and enjoyed was Mirror's Edge. I pray they make a sequel but the original sold so few that I highly doubt they ever will.

It's such a shame that CoD games turned into hack-athons.

When CoD4 first came out it was brilliant to play online. Well balanced teams, great maps, good weapons and perks system.

Since then they've done nothing but ruin the game via the perks, give us terrible maps in subsequent games and the hackers have run amok.

I didn't even bother to buy Black Ops because you're effectively paying full price for the singleplayer with the multi being worthless. Can't imagine MW3 will be any different.

Bit of an odd one this, but basically no matter what I do, I cannot get into a game on Arica Harbour.

Before the PSN outage, it would simply show the loading text at the bottom of the screen after the previous map had ended, show the little circular loading icon and then the screen would remain black. If I was in a squad with friends, I could still talk to them over mic, and could press the PS button and do anything there, but just couldn't play the map.

After the PSN outage, I still can't play the map but it partially shows the loading screen for new maps (satellite imagery of whatever map is half loaded).

Has anyone else had this issue (or maybe with another map?) and resolved it or know what I can do to resolve it?

I've done the whole deleting save data/game data and so on and it had no effect (at least apart from partially loading the screen, but that came about after PSN came back as well so who knows?)

No other maps are affected by this as well.

Cheers in advance for any help.

Basically anything this generation that's a sequel of something last generation.

GTA IV was terrible compared to III/Vice City/San Andreas for example.

MGS4 was the only thing that on the first run through didn't disappoint me in the slightest, but since I completed it that first time, I haven't felt compelled to play it again, whereas I've completed MGS1/2/3 multiple times since.
