Well say goodbye to PGR as we know it. Not a bad thing as were now at number 5 and really what more could they do to it?

But Activision getting Bizarre is not good at all. Unless Activision changes it's way I could see Bizarre's releases steadily declining in quality.

[QUOTE="MarcusAntonius"][QUOTE="CarnageHeart"]

I've never played a Fatal Frame game (the concept just doesn't strike me as interesting) but judging by most of what I've read, if one can get one's head around the concept, its a fun game. It will be interesting to see how it does.

CarnageHeart

You should give those games a try Carnage. I've always believed that FF brought its own unique, creative approach to the survival horror genre in stealing elements from Silent Hill and RE to make its own mark.

FF XIII and MGS4 on PS3

RE:Chronicles and FF on the Wii......

ugh.......I have to own all 3 again....

Not saying I'm going to run out and buy it today, but if I were so inclined, which Fatal Frame would your recommend?

2 is the best in the series.

they probably saw the sales of frequency and amplitude and didn't think GH would do so good. GH was considered a big risk before it was released.

Omega-5

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/omegafive/news.html?sid=6179347&om_act=convert&om_clk=newlyadded&tag=newlyadded;title;1

Defenitely a R-type Final vibe with this one visually.

Castle Shigami 3

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/shikigaminoshiro3/index.html?tag=similargames;title;2

The last game was an underrated game for the PS2, ARC Systems is behind this one.

Ikaruga

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/ikaruga/news.html?sid=6179394&om_act=convert&om_clk=newlyadded&tag=newlyadded;title;1

This game doesn't look much better than the GC version in Progressive...of course leaderboards and achievements are more important.

Triggerheart Exelica

Looks like a port of a DC game.

Rez - http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/rez/news.html?sid=6179007&mode=recent

Looks to be a direct port done by former Lost Planet developers. Comes out Q1 2008

E4 almost looks like a different game from the original:

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/everyextendextraextreme/news.html?sid=6178953&mode=previews

- Custom Soundtrack Mode

- Traditional Shooter Mode with bosses(I was wondering why they were cut from the normal mode)

- Vibration

- Overhauled art

- Online leaderboards

I added shots of the original versions for more perspective.

The image

Lumines Live:

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/puzzle/lumineslive/news.html?sid=6179023&om_act=convert&om_clk=newlyadded&tag=newlyadded;title;1

Lumines goes Locoroco with a Holiday themed set of skins, along with a new Genki Rockets video. Still no new achievements or modes, which the game really could use.

I like Ecco on DC so these games interest me. Both games look amazing for their respective platforms.

With PS3's 1.92 update PS2 games look very good on HD and don't lag too bad either. GC and Xbox look better but it depends on the situation on all systems. Metroid Prime 2 and 3 look really good on HD, but RE4 kind of loses something. Accent Core in PS2 looks better than Reload Xbox for example.

This series has the same problem Viva Pinata has, the demographics don't mix well. But I think this is another example of how poorly Sony has been running the PS Network this year.

I always thought the first one would of benefited from a move to the PS3. I'm sure if they bring it here it'll have a disc explaining the second game.

Rez and Ikaruga with achievements and leaderboards is unbeatable. Hopefully E4 comes out of it's hiding place soon, like next week.

Big shaft to the Wii with Rez, I don't see why they wouldn't do a straight port of it though.
