I dont know what everyone is complaining about; the demo lasted me two hours (yeah I'm a slow player) and I thought it was really good. Also for the dialouge portions you can just press square to skip to the next line if you want.
1. Like what everyone else said you should choose to be a royal when you start. (Best equipment, can use magic, and you can shape them into pretty much whatever you want them to be)
2. After killing the demon at the end of the level dont consume the soul. Their souls can be made into great weapons and spells (go to the wiki to find out which).
3. Play slowly and cautiously. Shield up is the way to go.
4. If youre playing a melee character NEVER use up all your fatigue. Even if you see an opening in the enemy's attack dont simply mash on the attack button because it will leave you motionless and open for other attacks. If youre playing a magic character learn to block and dodge effectively so you can fire off your spells without getting hit.
Im not sure if its because Im not using a mic myself but I dont even bother since half the time i cant even understand what the other people are saying.
It's one of my favorite games. When I first looked at it I didn't see anything special but believe me it's incredibly fun and rewarding. While there isn't anything revolutionary about it it feels fresh and does everything right. The combat is incredibly simple with only block, dodge, and attack but thats what makes it so fun and rewarding.
I was also thinking of buying it; for 10 dollars it seems that it would be a pretty good deal. Right now I want a cheap game that'll last me a while and I was thinking of picking this up.
