Before you read this, there are a few things you should know. My parents absolutely HATE video games. They say video games do nothing for you, and while that's true, I'm only twelve, it's not like I have a job yet. I have lots of other interests besides video games, in fact, I'd rather do some of them rather than video games. I have really good grades and I do my chores everyday without being asked (take care of chickens, goats, ducks, cows; take out the trash; etc). I'm outside a lot, and I get exercise (I'm into cross country). I'm only allowed to play when it's nighttime. Nowadays, I rarely play because they won't let me. To them, my whole day is: wake up; sit around all day waiting for nightfall; and then play video games. Just... no.

Now onto Skyrim. I recently wanted to buy it for myself, so I talked to them and they said I could probably get it and play it. Then, later, when my mom wasn't busy, I asked her if she could order it off Amazon for me while I had the money ready to pay her ($15 for Skyrim). Then she got into a yelling fit and said I don't need to buy another video game and why don't I save my money instead.

I put more than half of all the money I earn into my bank account so I can buy a car and a house, the rest I keep to buy whatever I want. Most of the time, I do save my money. But I want to buy Skyrim and yet they won't let me. When I bring it up they just start yelling. Something similar happened quite recently, too. I wanted to buy a third Xbox 360 controller because when a friend comes over my little sister always wants to play with us, and since we only have 2 controllers she starts crying. To my parents, I shouldn't even be playing video games when my friends are over.

So, what do I do to convince my parents let me buy Skyrim. Again, they're perfectly fine with me playing it, it's just buying it, even though it's $15 and I have $55 saved up. What do I do?

One more question: can all of the non-Xbox Live profiles play the games on the Xbox Live account without signing into the Xbox Live account?

For multiplayer, Black Ops 2 is my favorite, with Ghosts following as my second.

For the campaign, I like Ghosts.

I updated my COD Ghosts on Xbox 360, but whenever I try to play multiplayer, it says I need Xbox Live to continue, which I don't. It seems to be impossible to play even LOCAL multiplayer without Xbox Live, which seems silly. Anyways, in order to play I had to delete the title update, but I really want to update it. Any help?

Will it be fine if I don't have it checked out or fixed?

Thing is, it stops after a while, and none of the discs have scratches on them. If you give it a little bang on the top, it'll stop too. Plus, I download all of my games from the disc onto the hard drive, so that way it only needs the disc to read it.
