try with a other tv and see if the problem is still there.DragoonSaber
Okay, it was hooked up to my Toshiba 19" HDTV. I moved it into the other room and hooked it up to a 22" Magnavox Standard Def. and the problem persists. The grainy crackley sound is a little bit more washed out and faded during explosions, but it is just as bad as the Toshiba during especially loud music during demos or on the title screen. I even tried unplugging and reseting everything, and the problem still continues on both TVs. Any other suggestions?
(Thanks for the advice though, Dragoon.)
So I got my PS3 only a few days ago. It's a 120GB Slim model. I got it used, but it was from a Gamestop employee who claimed it was turned in only a week after being purchased(new) It is in beautiful condition and works perfectly in every aspect. I only have one small problem. Sometimes in demos or on the title screen when the sound gets loud or there is an explosion or something the sound gets really gritty and rattley(almost like the speaker is about to blow out) I know it isn't turned up to loud because it does this even at the lowest volume. I saw that a lot of people had these problems when using an HDMI cable, but I am not. I'm using basic composite cables and I have the audio settings on correctly. Can someone help? I really don't want to have to return this for one in worse condition.
Can someone please explain to me why on my 120 GB PS3 I have the ability to create a PS2 memory card, but I can't play any PS2 games? Seriously? Are they going to release a firmware update to enable PS2 support? Hell, I'd even pay money for it if they did.
from MS's mouth "all 360 currently have a designer flaw that could lead to the rings of death problem"RagashahsWell apparently dropping your 360 down the stairs isn't a flaw causer. Cause I've done that twice, three rings of death, and a kick to the case, and mine still works. Maybe mine is made of titanium, and I just got luck to find one.:D
Okay, I've been looking into the Ring of Death conspiracy scrutinously. And I've come to the assumption that either everyone who has gotten one is an idiot, or a MS hater. I myself have had the so called "Ring of Death" THREE TIMES! And don't say, "Oh well you probably THOUGHT you had it" NO! It was the three glowing red lights and it was the so called "Ring of Death" and after THREE Rings of Death, my 360 still works perfectly. I'll even take a video next time it happens. You know how I magically fixed the "unfixable" problem? Blew on the vent, then it "magically" turned on. My final conclusion...Ring of Death was a conspiracy started by either Sony or Nintendo fanboys. I could care less about your opinions, cause you're just going to say "omgzorz what a lyin lozer lem lolz, he cants accept sonyz gratnez ha ha lolz!!!!!!!!1111111111111" whatever. You're gay if you even decide to use such horrid grammar, and go ahead a call me a liar, I and three of my friends know I'm not. So, yeah, theres my conspiracy theory for the day.
P.S. flame me all you want, I'm leaving this board, mostly because I know the trolls will come aknocking, and trolls are boring.
