At this point, it's very probable.

A GTA mmo would never work. There isn't nearly enough depth to the GTA franchise (face it it's smut), and due to it's content it would receive an M or AO rating from the ESRB, which would be a death-sentence.

 Also, no it would not take away like 60% of the WOW community because practically 90% of that community is 12 years old, and any parent who has their head on somewhat straight knows about GTA, and knows that it's not something they want their child playing.

I totally agree, it's a cool idea, but it would never work.

Definently consider getting Half-Life 1 & 2, Morrowind, any PC Medal of Honor and Call of Duty, Battlefield games, Starcraft, Warcraft III...man the list just goes on and on.
