Not giving the racing wheel controller analog sticks makes it really impractical. You're paying $40 for a controller that will only work for a handful of games. Assuming you already invested in the Move controller and Eye camera.
It would cost more, but at least a fully functioning controller would work with other PS3 games.
I'm really glad point and click games have found a new renaissance. And it's good how Gamespot reviews a lot of these indie or downloadable games. I'm just hoping it heads stateside soon.
I think it's a good symbolic gesture to do this. Reality is that the amount of money they save is relatively insignificant. But it says to us that they're aware of the annual loss and says to the employees not to be complacent.
It's really tough how these devs are contracted to make games for the big publishers. One critically panned game or one poor selling game and suddenly they can't find work.
The game's on the Humble Bundle for the next week (go to humblebundle(dot)com). If you pay $7.88, you get this, Bastion, Super Meat Boy, Limbo, Psychonauts, and Superbrothers.
I actually already own Bastion and Limbo but I'm about to pick this up. Never did play Psychonauts and this game and Superbrothers look really cool.
@Whitebloodsun I actually like the retro graphics in this game. I think there are a lot of younger gamers that never played DOS games. Don't think they realize it intentionally looks like an old school game.
I agree with you. Even if they could afford Crysis caliber graphics, it would lose all of its charm.
