After seeing the film today at the 12:20 PM screening in the UK (the earliest I could get into), I can say, this film has no plot what-so-ever.
What is worst is they managed to screw up some of the Lore as well. A roller coaster that basically makes you feel absolutely nothing and at the end you are so confused that you have no idea what just happened or saw.
People think the Prequels were bad... Compared to this new trilogy, those are all Film of the Year material with 20+ Oscars won per film. This is how bad SWRoS felt...
I would still encourage people to see it, Just to realise HOW BIG of a MONUMENTAL FLOP this film truly is..
No one actually picked-up the "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King" scenario from this episode?
It's a freaking copy-paste from the game expansion released almost 10 years ago... Just look at the trailer... actually, now I think the whole "white walkers" thing is a rip-off... :( Talk about an "easy buck"...

Saying one thing today means absolutely nothing! If tomorrow it is done!
Just remember, you DON'T BUY software! You buy the LICENSE to use that software! (Games are software). The software IS OWNED by whoever developed it! You OWN NOTHING! :) And thus, you cannot hold the developers responsible for what they might have said at point X in time;) After all, they decide what they want to do with it! (Tomorrow if they feel like it, they can shut the software/game down, invalidating your license. They still get the money and no court in the world can say otherwise or get your money back, as they did exactly what they said: Give a license to play the game. If later for other reasons, they decided to shut it down, is a totally different matter:) )
I am a gamer myself and I can't really understand why people are a lot more demanding these days than it was like 10 years ago! And by demanding, I mean "picking" on stuff like this, or other weird things like I've seen around! (I want my PANTS PINK, but the dev didn't add that colour... "This game sux!" kind of stuff... Which is hilarious and very immature! )
This should be a wonderful news! The fact that they CHANGED their stance! Honestly, how many devs DO THIS?!?!
I am not taking any stance or side, but I give credit, where credit is due, to developers who go beyond "the call of duty" to support their software! (Which you can clearly see here!)
I am not singing their tune, but I REALLY WISH, more developers would go the extra mile and do stuff like this (EA, Ubisoft, etc... we are looking at you!)

Bottom line: Support TRUE developers! It means more to them, then you money! A lot of us, work for "free" to bring a lot of this stuff to light! And by "free" I mean sure, we sell the product, but we go the "extra mile" that is not paid to SUPPORT and IMPROVE the software! This is where the LOVE and HUMANITY is shown;) (Look at From Software and their Support for the Dark Souls series for example:) as well, but CDProject Red pretty much nailed it!)
Wow... I see a lot of hatred and misinterpretation from a lot of you folk...
The fact that CD Project Red decided to make a "patch" to support new variants of the consoles should be good for everyone! They clearly show one thing: That they put a LOT of TIME and LOVE into their games !!! They also show the thing they said BEFORE the game was ever released: That they are going to support it as much as possible!
I want to live and see Cyberpunt 2077 as much as you, but don't discredit a developer where you don't need to! The Witcher Series is a marvel, starting from the first one and ending with the 3rd one! They love it and so should you! After all, they don't ask for extra money for that patch! I don't think that making this patch - in any shape or form - will affect the development of Cyberpunk 2077! Think it the other way;) By making this patch they "learn & test" the new features of the consoles so they can provide it ON LAUNCH for Cyberpunk 2077! (People forget that nobody is born learnt!)
For the gamers that have no clue about software development: A patch is a fix. It can take 5 minutes or it can take 1 month! If you really love - as a SW developer, what you created, then 1 month is justified!
For the record: - I am a software developer (not affiliated in any shape or form with CDProject Red) - I have the game bought on the PC (both from Steam and GOG with all DLCS and expansions) as well as on the PS4 + all DLC and Expansions. - I don't believe all this hatred is good for gaming industry or society for the matter! - I am mostly playing this game on the PC in Nvidia 3D Surround (that is 2x5760x1080 resolution). - I played the game on the Playstation 4 a lot! - I am a modder for 3D Vision on PC! - But most of all, I love gaming and what it makes it work!
As for the question: to truly exist in a virtual reality I think the Matrix way is the true only way;)) Feeding alot of information directly to your CPU (brain) and thus you can offhook the real body;))
Using sensors on your body to fool the brain is why the Presence is not achieved truly. Feeding all that info in the brain directly (without any intermediary) is the way to be;))
@TenraiSenshi @realiamnot They said they are looking at Skyrim to "learn" on how the open world was created / worked in that game.
Theoretically that is a good thing in my book. I disliked the ability not to roam where ever I wanted in DAO and Da2. The maps were pretty small in both games. More grand scale maps is better in my book. Now only if they actually add stuff to do in them, rather than huge map to explore only to find nothing:)))
@BioWpn Well DA2 had about 1 year of full dev cycle. I say this will defo not repeat the mistakes in DA2 regarding the environments. I really hope they improve the combat and inventory management, A hybrid between DAO and DA2 would be awesome! and I really loved the combat pace in DA2. In DAO was too damn slow with insane long animations and too much slow motion...

The only thing that you own is the LICENSE to use that software! Now I agree that what M$ is doing is crap... since you pay for a game and 10 years from NOW you might not be able to use it... (I am not a console player) I use my Computer in everything and yes I am a developer and an "older" gamer, but I still have games from 90' that I can still play on my current PC without anyone PLUNGING-OUT my "access" to the "licensed copy o the game" that I payed for 20 years ago...
I just wanted to share more "light" in the matter from the juridic point of view as well as the consumer one and that of the cr@p MS is doing....
