@Shelledfade1 It is actually quite sad to me to see a GS staff member, much less Danny, defend D3 sales without mentioning the "Subscribe to WoW for a year get D 3 for free" marketing gimmick. Blizzard sold out to casual gaming long ago, which is smart from a business stand point. However, from a creative artistic stand point it is complete bunk, just like this renovated TF2 game Overwatch is. Anyone saying Blizzard is not in it to farm the pocket book of casuals is either completely blind or dense, you look at D 3, you look at Heroes of the Storm, you look at Hearthstone, and then you look at this. Danny I would have hoped you would expect more from the billion dollar companies you cover. In Diablo 1 a child had a soulstone thrust into his head turning him into Diablo, in Diablo 3 you had Deckard Cain randomly killed off with cartoony graphics by a butterfly woman who just waltzes into his house in Tristram, Diablo went from Gothic horror to console kiddy over what? 16 years? Please tell me again how those sales show progress or quality...
