The ending will make you wanna bite the controller in half from excitement!
Seriously though, I enjoyed the game. Plus, they've done a good job from artistic side.

Well... i dont think its as overrated as Halo, but you have a point. I got mine for free (came with the console). At the moment it looked "unique", now every second game looks like GoW. And the sequel... to me looks like an expansion. Pretty good looking expansion nevertheless.
If anything, GoW2 is more overrated than first one.
[QUOTE="gustavog117"]Isnt Rock band a little rip-off of the guitar hero franchise with the notes scrolling down. All they added was the drums and vocals and drums were the same as a guiatr with notes scrolling down. I think there were other games that did this before so they are both ripoffs.DJ_Lae
Rock Band is more or less a continuation of the Guitar Hero franchise, since it's the same company that started Guitar Hero. And yeah, it's inspired by Konami's Guitar Freaks, but there's a good deal of Frequency and Amplitude in there once you get past the guitar controller.
I think that's what bothers me the most - Activision buys up the Guitar Hero name because Harmonix wants to start Rock Band, and then instead of keeping it going as a guitar game they decide that they want to directly copy their competitor. Which is only sad because the Guitar Hero name has been around longer and most people don't know (or care) what company is making it.
Whether you call it "continuation" or a "rip-off", its still a copying of one's idea. Yes, Harmonix came up with game mechanics and stuff, but the trademark name still belongs to the publisher (in this case - Activision). And how do you know that EA just didnt offer more money to Harmonix to work with them instead of Red Octane/Activision? How do you know that EA just didnt want to rip-off the GH idea but with more money (at that point Activision/Vivendi didnt exist yet) EA could expand GH idea and implement it to RB?
The point is, that everything is a rip-off of everything, whether we like it or not. And you have to agree, Neversoft has done a good job with GH3, so blaming Activision for trying to compete with EA using existing game mechanics (which EA did before ) is not an option here. It is sad though, that there will be no compatibility between them...
I just got a question....are we going to have to play monthly just to play this game online along with our xbox live subscriptions like they did with that final fantasy online game? Oh yea and it would be awesome if we can play online together with people using a pc and an xbox360.Aesthetic816
No, it wouldnt be awesome. PC users will have an advantage because of a mouse and more keys are available for shortcuts and macros. I really doubt they will make a cross-platform feature because it would just be not fair to play together using different controlls.
Ok, WTF!! All these guys are doin is copyin everything Rock Band is and addin symbols on drums.. Man game developers these days are soo desperate they'd copy another game... Kinda pathetic if you think about it.. I would have loved another Guitar Hero game with just the guitar but whatever....soufan123
Then BUY JUST A GAME WITHOUT A SET!!! Get a guitar for 40 bucks in any BestBuy and play it with a GUITAR ONLY!
Damn, why are so many people acting like sheeps? "Bahhh, they are copying Rock Band, bahhh, bahh, its a rip-off, i'm not paying 180+ bucks for new set, bahhh, bahh, are Rock Band drumsticks gonna be compatable with Guitar Hero?, bahh..."
If you think that its a rip-off - dont buy it and stick to Rock Band, end of story.
If you dont want to pay for set - dont! Buy a game only and play with a guitar only (I bet most of you have a GH3 or GH2 guitar)
