As much as it pains me to say this, using Gamestop as a meter for used game sales is a bad one. Their proportional used sales have less to do with a stagnant market and more to do with poor trade in values and overpriced used games. Stores and websites are more aggressive with their prices. This does lead to a bigger market for used gaming. The flaw in this argument is that Gamestop's used market isn't growing, that doesn't mean the market as a whole isn't growing.
@DeFiLeDTitan Walmart also does swarm over me the moment I walk in the door. Walmart doesn't try to ram more products down my throat while I shop or checkout. Walmart doesn't try to milk every last dollar out of grandparents that don't know any better.
My 8 bit Nintendo got me through many a lonely weekend. If it wasn't for gaming, I would have committed suicide a long time ago. Thank you Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft.
Does anyone really watch the 5 hour pre-game show? And if so, what is wrong with you? Thank God Fox doesn't have the Super Bowl. No one should have to spend 5+ hours listening to Terry Bradshaw. I'm all for giving people with disabilities a chance, but did Fox really need to add someone slightly retarded to its pregame show?
