I'm going to pull the trigger on Prototype. Seems like something I'd like. On the fence about Bioshock, I don't know much about it aside from a lot of people enjoyed it. Looks like a tactical FPS or something. I know people are going to hate me, but I purchased New Vegas and played it for about 5 hours, really didn't like it, which surprised me because I loved Skyrim. Btw, if anyone is wondering about the Dead Space franchise. They are fantastic games. Simplistic, with just enough horror flavor and innovation to really make a well rounded single player adventure. A must buy for $5 a pop!

Howdy, Way back at the start of summer this year, it was the dawn of the most anticipated gaming release of my life, Diablo III. As many of you know, the game turned out to be a massive disappointment. It wasn't a horrid game, per se, but it had no replayability. Three weeks after its released, I was ready to move on. Ever since then, I have been reeling on the gaming front. I've bought and beaten a handful of games via steam sale, including just recently Dead Space 1 & 2 through the Halloween sale (great games), but I haven't found a game I can cling on to to dump some time in. A lapse of judgement had me trying WoW:Panda Excursion, but as one would expect, it didn't hold my attention either. What are some good PC games that you guys can recommend that you've played lately? I don't care if the game is old or new, as long as the quality shows through. I prefer faster paced games, but I can respect a really good RPG such as Skyrim (although I did not care for New Vegas who many swore I would love). Any suggestions? Can anyone attest to Torchlight's end game? Or Natural Selection 2 ? Both these games -sound- interesting... Cheers, Storm TLDR; I'm in a point in my life where I'm going through video games faster than Taylor Swift goes through boyfriends. I'm willing to try ANY PC game, make a suggestion!

[QUOTE="Black_Knight_00"][QUOTE="stormus2008"]It is eating me ALIVE, that I cannot remember this Sega game. You start in a very small space ship/shuttle in which you control, and you floated around, and could not touch the sides of the level or they caused your ship damage. You would have to go through the level to find fuel and other materials. One of the bosses was a giant floating head, that had like a scorpion tail that came out of it's chin. As I child, the game seemed EXTREMELY difficult. Can anyone please help me here! Much thanks, Stormus

Sub-Terrania Funny, another guy asked about this same game a couple weeks ago. A lot of people are looking for it apparently.

THANK YOU!! Did this game not seem next to impossible? Or maybe I was just a terrible gamer as a child.

[QUOTE="stormus2008"][QUOTE="IcyToasters"]

There's a thread called the PGD Games Remembrance Thread in the Primary Games Discussion board that'll probably be able to help you better.

Off-Topic is for talking about anything except video games, and the thread will probably be locked!

IcyToasters

Thank you.

no problem :]
good luck with it!

I posted there, but part of the reason I posted on this section is its activity. That thread has been around 2 weeks, and has a grand total of 13 post. Oh well, I'll be patient.
