As the majority of my game time is on PC I would have to choose that over 3 consoles. Luckily I don't have to choose and have access to everything.

meh, stuff like DAO and Mass Effect jsut seems like JRPGs in disguise, for me anyway... they give the illusion of choice, id rather just go through a JRPG then sit there thinking my choices actually affect the game world and gameplay in any meaningful way... but thats just me, havent played DAO but if its anything like ME then count me out.

Oresome

You get a ton of chances to effect the outcome of some events in a big way.... not simply small dialogue choices, but things like skipping entire dungeons, being captured or not, which NPCs will do major things and so on.

Not a chance, there's just too many timeless gems from the '90s and early 2000s. With that said, it's probably one of the best RPG's I've played in recent years and I've been pretty impressed by what Bioware has put out.

[QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"] Apparently the staff at GT doesn't know that, I always knew that site was a load of garbage.Bebi_vegeta

It says Crossfire in the video...

GT changed it after they realized their mistake.

PC has the largest userbase worldwide and is the most played gaming platform. The shift to digital distribution has created an opportunity for many first-time game developers to launch unique, original and deep games. This would have been impossible in the past. Due to this I have the largest backlog I've ever had and I believe PC gaming is beginning to enter a new golden era.

I'm having a much better time with DA:O TBH. I think that's because it's similar to the CRPG's I used to play on a daily basis. At the moment I'm putting DS on hold until I'm done with DA, but I don't think I'll be finished with DA for a while.

Much better than I expected. A bit small on content but the gameplay is smooth, addictive and easy to handle. The graphics weren't as impressive as I hoped, but they're still light years a head of other multiplayer only games on the market. Colour me impressed.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but this might actually turn out to be a pretty good game. Here's some review excerpts:

"If you're a longtime fan of Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, or others and have the power under the hood to run it, you'll find a lot to like in Shattered Horizon."

"It's no secret that I spent the last couple of days on the website being a nut about Shattered Horizon. The game just left that big of an impression on me. 32-player deathmatches in zero gravity? Yes, please."

"Over the years we have seen many takes on FPS gaming but this is the first that makes us ponder where we can go from here. It wasn't the graphics engine that blew us away, and it wasn't the fairly simple story either. Facing truly new gameplay for the first time was exciting and intimidating; when all the dust settled we remained in the same spot, wanting another round to prove ourselves again. Shattered Horizon is visually beautiful in execution of models and landscape but that all came secondary to the experience as a whole, as any game should work to do."

I'm predicting a solid 8.5.

[QUOTE="bobbetybob"]Seems extremely dodgy that they've gone down in .5's due primarily to graphics...unless the gameplay is majorly different, I don't see how lack of graphical prowess deserves a whole point being knocked off...dylanmcc

That's what I was thinking. They're the only differences between the 3, no? It seems pretty shallow to rate them all differently because of minor visual differences.

The PC version features a better interface and with the zooming ability it makes combat a whole lot more streamlined. The PC version didn't score higher than the rest on visuals alone, the gameplay is superior too.

Didn't expect this! I'm just glad I'm getting the best version.
