this article is exactly what i wanted to hear from capcom. point 1. the series cannot stay the same yes it should stay survival horror but as far as control schemes and gameplay definitely love the fact they changed it. re doesnt need to be stiff and closed in anymore. when playing re 2 you were more afraid of the fact that you had nowhere to run to and getting around was difficult the feeling of anxiety and adrenaline was instilled. as the series evolved and technology grew. it gave us a change to experience horror from a different point of view and see how the t virus itself can evolve from bio warfare at its simplest to mind control through infection. the fact that you can run away in a greater environment and these characters developed combat skills the scheme would have to fit. they made re more complex and added more variety of gameplay for not just fanbase gamers but newcomers as well. and ORC was an amazing addition people keep calling it gears of war and call of duty.. but yet its just resident evil with a change of gameplay? learn how to accept and understand why capcom is making a change before bashing them. the story needed a different turn ..evolution. yu cant keep the same thing forever enjoy re for the characters and the amazing story. then maybe yu will learn to accept the gameplay for what it is
