@chessmaster1989: Yes I have and we made payment arrangements. Nothing crazy, like $100-$200 dollars a month. But she hasn't paid me back a penny of it. She keeps lying and making excuses. She just went on a trip to Florida with friends, yet she can't pay me back?

@ferrari2001: Well the charges she put on my card was for her credit card, and the other thing is I've got text messages of her admitting it. And when she stole the money from the ATM I was at work, 57 miles away from the ATM she used.

@4myAmuzumament: It isn't about the money. It's the principal of the matter. I have given her so many chances, not only with this situation, but dozens of others. I'm not trying to sound like a douche or whatever, but if someone who you've been helping financially for years steals from you, wouldn't you be upset? She's made no attempt to pay me back, and I've given her plenty of time. She hasn't even given me a dollar towards it. It's plain disrespectful.

@ad1x2: It's really not about the money, I mean $700 dollars isn't going to make our break me. It's just the principal. And I've cut off all ties with her, and I've tried to talk it over with her face to face because she's avoiding my calls and when I go to her house she jumps in her car and leaves. I've done all I can to resolve it, this wasn't my first option but it's the only one she's left me with.

@4myAmuzumament: She isn't the kind of person you'd take pity on if you knew her. Even her parents and her brother told me I should press charges. She's a pathological liar and a thief. I've paid her probation, bought her a MacBook for school and so much more. And than she steals from me? This was a slap in the face and the last straw. If anything I think it'd help her, not ruin her life. She needs to learn a lesson

I'm only doing what I think is fair. I was nice about it and gave her an opportunity to repay me and she didn't. All I want to know is if I waited to long or of I can still press charges

I had a close friend of mine steal my debit card and pull out cash and pay off her credit card bills with card. I didn't notice it for about a week, because it was a new account and I hadn't set it up online yet. But I did catch it eventually and long story short, she begged me not to press charges and that's she pay me back slowly cause she was unemployed. Well it's been a good 3 months and she hasn't attempted to pay me back, even though she now has a job. She stole over $700 dollars, I called the bank and let them know when I first found out but I was afraid to press charges because she already had a felony and was on probation. It's it too late to press charges? I'm tired of waiting and hearing excuses and lies, and at this point I don't even care about the money. I just want her to pay for her actions.
