@davidsworld3: they do make it sound like cole is dead, but it is never actually confirmed. the mystery informant says many conduits survived because of "cole's gift" as well as because of how close they were to the blast and how strong they were (and remember, cole had become one of the strongest conduits out there), he never actually said that cole died. and in the cole's legacy missions, I don't think zeke actually said cole is dead, the closest he got to it is at the near the end when he tells Delsin "cole would be proud" which sounds like cole is dead but could simply mean that cole isn't around and couldn't say it himself. really, there are a number of possibilities: cole could very well be dead, he could be alive but gone into hiding to avoid the DUP, or maybe he's the mystery informant and used some sort of voice disguiser. He may very well be imprisoned in curdum cay in some way. I do hope they bring cole back, if they do, it would open up possibilities of co-op gameplay.

I prefer cole, true, he didn't have his personality fleshed out as much as delsin, but that left it as a sort of "blank area: for the player to fill in on their own, which made you get into the game more. plus I find having multiple powers a bit annoying. if delsin just had smoke, and kept evolving that, instead of getting multiple powers and only having access to one at a time, then second son would have been a bit more fun.

does anyone else think that if they continue the series, the next game would take place in curdum cay? the story could be that shortly before Delsin arrives with Fetch and Eugene, some sort of outbreak occurs and it's total war between conduits and DUP. Delsin could change powers from other conduits, instead of searching various sources.

another idea is that they could bring back cole, and have two intertwining storylines, a delsin storyline and a cole storyline, cole would be doing side missions for the people, and delsin's side missions would be taking down DUP security, and the final mission would only be accessible once you finished all other story missions for both stories, and would involve delsin and cole working together, switching between the two at various points in the mission,

Actually it's been stated that second son follows the good ending of Infamous 2. The goverment used cole's involvment in the deaths of all the conduits as an excuse to start the dup

I know that sucker punch has said that they're done with cole, but part of me still holds on. I always liked cole, and there's a bit of a plot hole saying that cole is truly dead. If the RFI really killed all conduits ( AKA anyone with the conduit gene), then how are there conduits seven years later? I Could easily see some sort of dlc mission being added, where Delsin ends up infiltrating a DUP base, and ends up finding Cole alive, but cryogenically frozen to keep as a source of genetic material for testing or something. and the player ends up getting the choice to unfreeze cole and set him free, or to kill him and take his power for himself

I've always wondered what happened to sasha, since she didn't appear in infamous 2. and for those who say that she died when cole activated the RFI, there's no proof that she actually died, and think about it, if the RFI killed all conduits (AKA anyone with the conduit gene) how is the deslin, a 24 year old conduit, alive when it's only 7 years since infamous 2? I wouldn't be surprised if sasha made some appearance.

Delsin is gonna be the Beast from Kessler's timeline. We all saw how different the two were. Delsin's ability to absorb the power's of others could very well drive him to become the true Beast. (Remember the shattered moon?) That could be the Evil ending. As for the good ending, well it's anybody's guess. I'm crossing my finger's for Cole to make a cameo.

or it could still be john white, kessler never dicovered the identity of the beast, and the beast in cole's timeline did infact appear much sooner than it should have, which was because kessler sped up the development of the ray sphere
