That´s always a pretty good dilema.

It´s true that Wii has made a revolution on the control system on games, but I believe that pure gamers still prefer the "classic" way of playing a videogame (a gamepad, a backgroud story for the game, an unexpected ending, ... Whatever but always inside the concept of "classic" gaming).

On the other side, this is a business and Wii is making impressive benefits with "less" powerful games. So it´s obvious that the rivals of Nintendo are a bit worried, because they need to put lots of efforts to make an equally enjoyable game for selling the same (that´s relative, but the proportional effort is very different).

For this reason I think that nex-gen consoles of Microsoft and Sony will probably incorporate a new control system for many games, although they´re surely going to put their biggest efforts on the "classic" games development.

And let me say one more thing: the revolutionary change in gaming is not as far as we think, the console systems of 2020 will have nothing in common with what we have right now. But this is not one generation, that´s two.

I agree completely with you. An old-school RE6 would be pretty amazing and will make us piss in our pants with the huge power of the new machines, but I´m not sure about what direction is going to take the series.

The best thing we can do is expect nothing. If they make another action title we don´t blame for that, and if they put out a masterpiece... Wow an unexpected surprise!

That was supposed to happen, Wii is a great idea and an original one, but Nintendo probably wants to turn back into the run battle and are planning to fight with the consoles of the next-gen. I´m pretty intrigued about how well will they do.

Original game (1985) was superb on its time, but this remake is pure crap.

I haven´t finished it and I´m never going to lose my time doing it.

Definitely YES.

A good game is a good game, in it´s own.

I´m from Spain and I love the NFL, but here in Spain and in Europe the NFL is not a very popular sport. Soccer is the only option and the second ones are basketball, tennis and Formula 1.

It´s unlikely that people here will open their minds to this sport, they´re soccer-absorbed
