Seriously, Red Dead: Redemption made my jaw drop more so than Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 combined. Proof that a lush landscape and inspired art direction always trumps generic and industrial landscapes with a microscopic palette. THE_MATRlX
Did you even play Uncharted 2?

It seems like a lot of Japanese development is focused on mobile platforms and their interconnectivity, something that seems pretty damn cool but doesn't really work as well outside of Japan. As for Inafune, I'd rather play Valkyria Chronicles 2 repeatedly than West-aped garbage like Dead Rising.

[QUOTE="LucidJubilation"]no, you're delusional if you dont think Finalstar isnt a blind fanboy lol. most people on here know he is, its a shame you don't.Rockman999

I been here longer than you and unlike you I have actually talked to the dude outside of Gamespot, so I think I would know him better than some random level 10 user who's been here for a little bit over 4 months.:roll:

It has less to do with that than it does with just blind fanboyism. You'd know if you read more of his posts.sky_rend
Again, how is it blind fanboyism if he doesn't enjoy the genres the majority of the games that were listed belong to? :|

Only an idiot would spend hundreds of dollars on a new system just to play games from genres he doesn't like and multiplats he can already play on the system he has. Like I said before Finalstar loves JRPG's so why would he want to buy a 360 when the majority of JRPG's are also available on the PS3 with extra content? Also the PS3 is the only home console that is region free with it's games so even if a JRPG isn't available in his region, he can just import it and play it on his console without having to mod it and thus void his warranty.

LOL you misunderstood. I'm just throwing treedoor's words back at him.

[QUOTE="treedoor"]

[QUOTE="Rockman999"]I don't think he would enjoy any of those games other than ToV, LO and maybe ME.

Dude Finalstar is primarily a JRPG gamer and the games Kozzy listed are shooters, a sim racer and whatever the hell Kameo is.:| Blind Fanboyism? Yeah you're one to talk. :lol: So he prefers the PS3, big whoop, how does that make him a blind fanboy? :? I've never seen him bash any of the other systems and I've discussed games with him outside of SW, the guy just loves his JRPG's.

It's dev/publisher fault. Nobody is asking them to make games that the system can't handle. However, expecting the same results when pushing a square peg into a round hole... pretty much sums up most of the hack port jobs.

[QUOTE="The_Weird_Guy"]

I never really noticed it before, but lately I noticed PS3 owners have been getting the short end of the stick.

Mafia 2 on PS3 was not on par with the 360 version. The 360 version had several features that the PS3 version does not have, including blood, grass, and better physics.

Smackdown vs Raw 2011 - apparently the layer limit for CAWS in the 360 version will be twice as much as the PS3 version.

And now I've been hearing that the 360 version of Dead Rising 2 is going to be much better than the PS3 version. I guess it's going to have a lot more content or something along those lines.

I love my PS3. I cancelled my Xbox Live Gold account because PS3 lets you play online for free. But now I'm starting to wonder if it's really worth saving a little money when we keep getting inferior versions of the same game.

This is why I recommend 360 over PS3. It's the little things that matter that add up over time.

Like XBL Gold cost that is increasing over the life of the console?

It's not a bad console but MS pretty much tries to nickel and dime you at every turn. I'm glad I have my PC, which covers a lot of 360 software anyway.

360 has a cheap point of entry but makes you pay for your console long after the initial sale. After I got my 360 Arcade, doing the math on paying for WiFi, Gold, and HDD pretty much made me sell it after playing a few games for it.
