Considering there are no alternatives. I'm happy they are bringing the Arcade style back. Thats what was missing since NHL 2k series. Since I'm still playing with NHL11 I might finally update myself with NHL18. Just hoping the Golden Knights don't have a generic jersey like EA did with the Winnipeg Jets when the game is released....
@sealionact: Yeah that pretty much what I posted. There seems to be inconsistencies when it comes to units shipped per country vs population. Not that hard in Canada either. Not often on shelves (maybe 1 day shelf life) but a few phone calls and a week or two and you're golden.
Reading through the comments its always funny the fanboyism bullshit on each side going on. Jesus guys..its pathetic...especially on the Sony side. You guys feel unsecured...I don't get it. Sony has unique games Nintendo doesn't have - Nintendo has unique games Sony won't have. Just enjoy the games everyone has to offer.
Regarding numbers. All I can say its a US number and things must be looked globally as it always has. I'm in Canada and its not that difficult to get a Switch but only occasionally you see one sitting on the shelves. Talking with some around me, wait time seems a week to two weeks if you look hard enough (personally took me a week). Reading posts and talking with some of my US friends, it seems to be pretty much impossible to get one under a month wait and people are still looking for them in the US. I know in some countries its super easy to find them. So its really an inconsistency when it comes to stock vs population.
@d3st1ny: Except those two games aren't Multiplayer only. I love Destiny as well but you could play most of the game solo (although you miss a lot of cool stuff if you do). That one is more a hybrid than anything else. Diablo 3 is technically single player as well.
I do get what you are saying though. I do think though that a really good single player game is pretty much like a great book or a great movie that you will keep playing it over and over. The issue in this day and age is that you get bombarded with a gazillion games and real life responsibilities comes in. I have a 3 and 7 yo so my game time is limited after they are in bed. I swapped an hour of sleep just so I can play a little more lol. But long ass games these days, unless its captivating, is out of the question (a reason why I enjoy Destiny though).
