In one of the ending in Fallout:New Vegas the Lonesome Road dlc ED-E sacrifices himself to save you and the rest of the Mojave from the nuclear missiles by deactivating them but destroying himself in the process. I actually felt a feel of loss when he died. This quote always got me at the end "ED-E Fly far fly fast". :(

I can't stress this enough Fall of Liberty had so much potential it all ways makes me sad on how it turned out in the end.
