both systems have 256mb of ram. both systems have 256mb video cards. the difference with the 360 and ps3, is the ps3 uses xdr ram which is roughly 5x faster then the ram used on the 360. the 360's ram can be used for graphics and backround use, as for the the ps3, its completely segregated.

this is why people say the ps3 is a more powerful system, with the cell, and xdr ram used, it is capable of producing bigger and better looking games then the 360, and with the help of blu-ray, games are not being compressed, therefor relieving the processor and ram to access the information at a higher rate.

i've cleaned it twice since it started doing this. if its just the fan, im fine going out and buying a new one, i just wanna make sure it is before i go through the hassle of taking apart my computer and case to get in there and replace it, to find out that wasnt it.

So when i first bought my shuttle comp about 3 years ago, the cooling fan used to stay on and sometimes turn on a higher speed mode during graphic intense games, but now it doesnt even turn on at all. it will just stay off, but sometimes out of nowhere it will turn on full blast for about 20 seconds then turn completely back off!

i really need some advice! is it my fan? do i need to buy another one? is there a setting that i missed? please help!

NOT true. you can buy a 7200 rpm Hard drive that will give you about 10-15% better load times.

the best place to buy a tv ANYWHERE would be amazon.com. delivery is free, they help set up the t.v. when its delivered, and they even remove the trash from the tv's box after set up. they'll make sure it works, and if its faulty they'll remove it and immediatly send out a new one.

the prices on their are the cheapest i've seen around. if i were you, i'd go for a 50 inch LED DLP tv. they're about 1200 on amazon. way more bang for your buck.

i only hope that if they did make a ps3 twisted metal, that it would be brought back to its roots from the old twisted metal 1 and 2. any others after that i just dont think were very fun.

its not so much as "its hard to develope for" its the fact that its completely DIFFERENT hardware then the xbox 360. EA's first next gen madden was only on xbox 360, and when they got their hands on a ps3, they were all like.. "wtf, this isnt a xbox 360, we have to LEARN how to develope for a completely different console? OMGAWSH!!" so madden 07 was a pure port from the 360 version on the ps3, and of course everyone complained that it was crap because it couldnt play as good as the xbox 360. with madden 08, the first chance EA has to completely build a game from the ground up, it was a much improved effort. yes, there was no 60fps, but it was a pretty smooth 30fps, and a solid madden game, and much improved from the 07 game.

imagine what they'll learn how to do with madden 09? oh yeah, and this analogy goes for every gaming developer. this is also the reason why everyone says.. "wait til 08, that will be the ps3's year to shine" and you can already see it here at the end of 07 with uncharted, rachet and clank, jericho, kane and lynch, army of two and even Resistance.

if PS3 owners can just hold out another 6 months and continue to support, sony will deffinitly deliver. the 360 has already reached its limits (as you can tell with the 640p Halo 3), and the ps3 is only half way there. we already have the better console, in 08 we'll have the better games.
