ok every time i try to connect online with my ps3 it says there has been a dns error. this has been happening for at least 2-3 weeks now.

has any1 had this problem and if so what can i do about it.

Please, give more information on how you're trying to connect. Probably wireless, but specify if you're using a router or no...

Yea, I have read that the PS3's Power supply is not the greatest..

I have a meter.. Do you know if there are specs on the PSU that would allow me to see if it is oupting the right voltages??

Try to test the power source and test the usb power putting a controller to charge. you can start validating the power source. The lights from the backs are very strange.
