this is genuinely sad, i downloaded the demo on ps4 and have been having fun just playing against friends on the couch. i was thinking about buying it, but considering how bare this game seems to be...i think i'll stick with the demo. I was hoping this could be my first hockey game purchase, as I have been very satisfied w/ my 1st soccer game purchase (FIFA 14) and figured that EA would provide NHL fans with the same level of greatness that FIFA provided for soccer fans (and non-soccer fans like me as well!). Oh well, I guess I'll wait till next year to start being a hockey fan XD
if i wasn't sold from it being a LOTR game, i'm sold again. the nemesis system looks like so much fun, devs should be giving players more freedom in how they want their narrative and gameplay to unfold. the less linear the better. it seems the this game's got those things going for it, as well as fluid combat animations...i'm a recent pathfinder and lotr nerd, so i can't wait to cut off some orc heads. the last great lotr game i played must of have been Return of the King for PS2 or something....although War in the North was entertaining but nothing ground-breaking.
@RobGrizz al5houth i enjoyed this episode, and the ones before it...you do make some solid points. season 1 choices seemed much more important than in this season. i wonder if telltale will be able to actually branch out w/ their narratives w/ these types of games. it would be for the better
Why in the world would any Dev think that it's a good idea to remove character progression and loot from an action rpg?! Even darksiders 2 had loot!! Jeezus Christ!!
