Interesting. Perhaps this is the future - at least for sony. Playstation as a subscriptions service rather than a hardware brand?. Interesting and in line with some of the noises coming out of Sony in recent months. Obviously only viable in certain territories due to broadband speeds and not realistic as a worldwide distribution network but in a number of years who knows.....Perhaps we'll see some generic hardware/protocol and we'd all just subscribe to the Nintendo/Xbox/Playstation/Apple channels as our preference takes us. For now though, it's Steam for me.

What a colossal wast of time. If you want reality then sign up and go to Afghanistan. If you want to be entertained then read a book, watch a movie, or play a game. Tom wrote an article lamenting the fact that games aren't real - oookaaay.. When I read the article I thought it was out of place and somewhat abstract in it's premise. In front of Greg in the video the points Tom made were somewhat forced and not logical in the face of the statement that "it's a game". If he wants to pick a fight with a developer on game's that presents hardcore subjects as fun then he should maybe have picked Rockstar on this occasion, as picking up prostitutes and then beating them up at the side of the road and taking your money back is not entertainment to some people. If Tom had presented this article to me I would have told him to send it to the New York Times and go write me something else for my gamer website.

I have a lot of time for Halo. So why do I feel so weary at the though of 4? Too much of a good thing. They should have left this as a launch title for next gen.
