At this point, I have to say that i don't really care what price Sony attach to their games. The list of titles available for the other two consoles will keep me more than happy with only a very select handful of games that will be PS3 exclusive that i'll really miss out on. Considering that at time of launch in Australia, i'll likely be able to buy both a 360 and a Wii and still have change left compared to the price of a PS3, i know where my hard earned cash will be going. There's also more than a little part of me that really wants to see Sony taught a lesson in how to treat their market properly. As far as i'm concerned, thus far, they seem to have adopted the philosophy of "our system is the leading force in the market and therefore people will pay whatever price we decide to set for it... and they'll do it happily." Which to me is an arrogant and very narrow-minded and short-sighted view to have in such a fickle, trend-oriented market whose customers have extremely varied tastes and budgets. It looks to be a business model they're carrying over to their next system launch and in a way i hope it backfires on them. And by the way... apart from the MGS4 trailer, there's really nothing i've seen or read about the PS3 that makes me think much of the new system.
