Mine works great, and I can actually hear people better on it.It's a little louder. As for it picking up my voice, I've never had any issues. I hate to hear it's not working for ya, I wouldn't trade mine for tha world. Makes me wonder if u actually had the awful luck of getting 2 duds in a row. Sorry man, truly.
