@Fallenlords69: I'm a Resident Evil fan, and though I enjoyed TEW, I just don't understand the notion of The Evil Within capturing classic RE better than RE7. The Evil Within, to me, feels like a mix of RE4 and Silent Hill 2/3. I can't comment on The Evil Within 2 since I haven't yet played it, though I'm looking forward to eventually doing so. Resident Evil 7, despite the change in perspective, seemed to do a very good job at capturing the elements of the old-school Resident Evil games. The one thing I'm still hoping for, no matter how infinitesimal a chance, is for them to go back to what was the original concept they demoed for Resident Evil 4 (aka RE 3.5) and work off those ideas.

@irishinstigator: You didn't say that. You said, "The most patriotic thing you can do is support kneeling during the anthem." That's different than supporting someone's free speech rights. I can support the rights of those saying things with which I disagree. Patriotism is not, however, the acceptance of the content of a disagreeable message, which is what you suggested.

I feel like an odd man out in that I have never been able to get into a few big name game series, namely this one, Far Cry, and Uncharted. I tried to play the other Mass Effect games, but I found myself not caring about the games after an hour or so. If I didn't click with the well-received entries, I guess that means I should avoid an apparently subpar entry in the series.

@Ripper_TV: I'll agree. It's either that, or it's the family sitting around the table.

@brazprince: Give me a currently-enforced law right now that proves systemic racism as it is written.

Here in Texas, I feel a DA with such a case would've pushed for the death penalty.

@csward: No, it's not racist. It's just stupidity. Unfortunately, "white privilege" has become a go-to for deflecting responsibility for one's actions and the resulting consequences off oneself and onto some unseen, malevolent force (i.e. "systemic racism").

@nickpeck36: I highly doubt there is any instance where she could walk into a court, say, "I'm black and oppressed," and walk out with nary a punishment.

@ArabrockermanX: So you respond to nickpeck36's incendiary (and obviously fallacious) comment with an equally ill-informed comment of your own stating that a white woman who clearly murders a man for a Playstation will get off with a slap on the wrist...
