@Ryouga001 I think it doesn't matter if it is a person's choice or not to be gay. Same as it doesn't matter if it is a women's choice, or if their born to do stuff traditionally assigned to men (such as a paying job). Thus it is closely related to things such as the women's rights movement & civil rights. There is no need or necessity to prove someone is born a certain way. There is no measurement of gayness or straightness. Most people have some of both masculine and feminine attributes to their personality.
To those that think gay rights shouldn't be shoved in people's faces; Do you think these things will just settle themselves out on their own? My Answer: NO! Things left alone will always just side with what the majority thinks is right, and may even slide backwards if they are left to do so. Things like the American Civil Rights Movement and Women's Rights would never have happened if it weren't for activists. That being said, this game won't shove it in peoples' faces. Mass Effect has usually been very tasteful.

A point to be made is that it is the right of the game developer to create the content they want, not the gamer to demand it. They didn't order leonardo da vinci to make what the general public desired. So view it if you wish.

I applaud BioWare giving the option to those who want it (even though it is not necessary for them to do so).Having a option in a game to be gay should only make some more comfortable.Those who wish to play their experience without it can, by all means, do so. Your friend having pie doesn't make your pie any less delicious.
This is a role playing game. You can chooose the role you wish to play. Besides, there has always been an exploration in Mass Effect with race, sexuality and our place in the universe. Krogans have two hearts, four lungs, and most notably four testicles. The asari are a mono-gendered race and can mate with other species of any gender. The Reapers are evil and are going to kill us all. "AAAaaaaaaaAaAAAaaaag" This game is going to be rated M (18+). As adults, I'm sure we can handle this stuff. If you're frightened, don't feed it to your kids.
