@contrapotatoes: Golden Axe 3 has flashing shadows. I have the japanese og version. Its just the way the game is. I won't provide a video. Just do a search for Golden Axe 3. My point is it isn't as bad as this guy makes it out to be. For a little bit more its probably best to buy an everdrive and an actual genesis. But most ppl won't do that. I mean cmon for $80 (a lot more here) you are getting 40 sega games more than what Nintendo are offering on both their mini consoles. Some of the better ones too. Sound is fixed apparently. Controllers are still iffy but they are better than previous versions by atgames. I mean saying not to buy something because of a power brick, an awkward menu that you will get used to after a bit and simple pettyness is like saying don't eat that pizza because its got anchovies on it. This isn't jounalism or even an honest review. It's simple biased opinion

Typical gamespot biased journalism. Petty negatives. The Nes mini is limited by no cartridge slot, less games and those short cables. Yet oh its the be end of clones. Yes the atgames consoles have been iffy over the years. But no mention of the sound fixes on the HD edition? One of the scariest games I played (2033) couldn't finish as the tunnels and those bloody creatures with the ambience of sounds made me shit my pants.
