I did like that it was individual combat for each soldier. You actually had to hit each soldier to kill them. It does seem to early to tell but it seems like a cooler dynasty warriors which is cool in my book.
Then I go an check out the Meta critic score and it has 69 Positive critic scores. Literally zero yellow or red. I have never seen a game get positive scores from 69 different official game critics who were given the game before official release date. This is going to be the GOTY!!!
I can't believe this. Everyone on here is literally complaining about free games. I don't understand this at all. "At least Microsoft is offering better free games." Are you kidding me! IT's A FREE GAME!!!! The only reason I have Playstation Plus is so I can play online with my friends that is it period. This is one of the lamest things I have seen in a long time.
Also this is coming from a guy who payed $15 to get Stardew Valley.
One thing I am curious about is that everyone is simply saying this is another MMO RPG where you have to grind for gear and have to do similar missions over and over again. Isn't that a MMO RPG? Isn't that the point of the genre and every single game that is like this attempts to follow? I don't get why this is a bad thing. How exactly are they supposed to innovate on a MMO RPG? What if any changes could they make to make this game better? I really hate trolls who just scream this game is garbage because you have to do the same quests over and over again. How do they change up the quests then? What things could they do to make things better in a MMO? I would really enjoy some constructive thoughts on this.
So I played it all weekend with my two good buddies. It was a great awesome experience. The Coop play was some of the funniest I have had in a awhile. The missions were a lot of fun. For me I would be walking down the street and then stumble upon a mission and then end in a gun battle. It was great. I would have to agree though that if the Darkzone is their end game I am worried.(This was from the end of the video) If the story is awesome and vibrant and that is your main focus and then the Darkzone is something you can dive into to get good loot every once in awhile then this game will be epic. Myself you can play single player. Honestly you can make it in the Darkzone alone but you are alone in the most dangerous place in the city and you can get ganged up on. For me, me and my buds would come upon a single dude he would roll with us for a bit. Also when you have a rouge group and people are pissed off about them being rouge their is no better experience then a group of non-rouge players wiping them out. That was one of the best things I did with my friends and some random folk.
I want the story to be just as a good as the game play which I think it is. Also I think it looks next gen on PS4. I am not a member of the PC master race and their high end graphics.
So honestly this game looks good. I have been so sad with the state of the RTS genre since EA killed anything C&C related. Any decent RTS game is good for the industry because it simply keeps the genre alive. I feel like people don't realize that how close this genre came to dying. A couple of years ago the only decent RTS games were StarCraft and Total War. This game does look inviting but frankly I don't want to pay 50 bucks for a 10 hour campaign. I will however get the game when it goes on a steam sale.
Also why does every care so much about what somebody's opinion is. It like if somebody has an opinion that they don't agree with that other person is an idiot for having that opinion and needs to be disregarded. I do not get it.
@prickpear: You know what dude. I actually happen to be a young punk as well. I think what you are saying is lame. This game looks excellent. They delayed the release of this game two years so they could release it properly. I know DLC is bad but I want to play this game. I am going to play it with my buddies and it'll probably have at least 30 to 40 hours of game play at launch which is a decent amount when compared to games like Destiny which had about 15 to 20. Why do you feel it is necessary to belittle some one who has a different opinion than you. You attacked him and then he attacked back. Frankly you are acting childish based on your actions alone. You know one thing that does fill with me faith in the gaming community is the analytical approach everyone's comments are. I think gamers are in fact well informed individuals because we like to surf the web and actually read articles about things that may interest us. I am just basing it off the comments I have read so far.
