@sammoth @LoganDaDestroya @TriggerManX97 @morredor The only thing I could see as a benefit would be giving us a 1 hour grace period of gameplay to see how well it runs on the pc but even then I also see that as pointless. We sign off on a EULA and take our license to be happy. That's what we get though a license not the ownership of the game's code.

Moreover, The school shooting part of the comment was in bad taste but previous and following portions of it obviously showed that he was not being serious. That's apparent even if you remove the lol and jk. Unless there is an incident of a school shooting that the shooter ate the heart of a child afterwards that I'm not aware of.

No, Halo is a trilogy and will always be a trilogy. It's fine if you want to expand the Halo universe since there is plenty of space there to play with but Master Chief's story arc should have ended with Halo 3.
@Tripwolf I play ST:O which went F2P. I honestly don't feel pressured into buying anything with real cash and the community for the most part has been helpful. Most of those "hateful" players get weeded in the first few months and all communities have them. I feel more pressured into buying items from games that are designed to be F2P moba-ish titles (world of tanks, planetside 2, and realm of the mad god come to mind)

@Dolmar9191 yeah runes affect the game. There hasn't been argument about that. The point being argued is that you DON'T have to spend cash to get ahead. Everything aside from aforementioned boosts and skins have an ip equivalent.
The items named above don't have an ip equivalent because there isn't any advantage to be gained in game from them.
IP boosts are there for the impatient people that want EVERYTHING in the game.
I think I mentioned elsewhere that additional rune pages don't cost ip. I'm wrong they do have an ip equivalent.
@Kaonasen essentially yes it is. There is very little in the game that you have to pay real money to acquire that affects the actual game (additional rune pages but you get two pages free). There is a lot of optional content that can be bought with real cash (cosmetic skins, champions though they can be bought with in-game currency, various ip or xp boosts). By the time you get to level 20 or so, you would have found a role you enjoy and would not have to unlock all 100+ champions unlike what dolmar9191 seems to suggest.
