I sure hope not, when I read that Ellie is the main playable character in Part II I didn't mind it, However, the ending of the first game of the lie Joel said might be the reason Ellie is drivin by hate and if the truth comes out how will she react to him?, will she forgive him or will cause a confrontation that will go bad.

Anyway, it is too soon to tell but I hope that once we see more of the game it will be clear and hopefully there are parts in the game where we can control Joel.

I believe two games which have let me regret the decision I took or decisions was Heavy Rain.

I kept replaying multiple times Heavy Rain in order to have an ending that will make me feel satisfied and this how it is supposed to be. However, the decisions I have made to different scenarios are quite hard for me to accept and forced me to like just cancel this play through and start over.

Beyond Two Souls had a similar impact but I didn't feel any regret in the decisions I have made through out the game.

I look forward seeing more of the game especially gameplay. Hopefully next year at E3 will get to see that.
