@python1026 @advocacy @poopinpat Annual releases result in incremental amounts of innovation at best. I agree this game doesn't deserve a 6 as it has solid gameplay and can be a great experience for anyone who didn't enjoy Arkham Asylum/City, but it definitely doesn't deserve as high of a score as previous titles either.
As I said in another post, they should remove the points system as it only leads to pointless discussions like this that are about the score instead of the game.
IMO, lack of innovation = series stagnation = not worth your money unless you are new to the series.
I vote for the entire removal of the points system from this website. It detracts from the discussions surrounding these reviews. The review and open discussion should be about the merits of the game and not the ranking system and the websites ability to make everyone happy through fair scoring.
Take out those numbers and make these kids read and think, rather than read a number and complain.
@advocacy I hope she does. That would be known as "calling it how it is". This game is no better than the annual CoD snoozefest.
Deserves a 7 based on the "If it's not broke don't fix it" argument. WB can keep churning out re-hashes like this until the fan base is completely gone.
@-RPGamer- @poopinpat @focuspuller They weren't common thats for sure. I know 6 or 7 people with rigs better than next gen consoles right now. I never said they didn't exist, just hardly anyone owned one.
Anyways I don't think that I need to defend my opinion that "nextgen" consoles don't excite me anymore lol
@-RPGamer- @focuspuller The gen after that was a huge leap as well. I also don't know anyone at the launch of ps3/360 that had a more powerful PC than the new consoles.
My PC is considered mid-range and its got more guts than either the ps4 or xbone and I bought it over a year ago.
