So, they're basically saying that since the $80-$120 price range has been around for as long as it has, they can't function without it.

They were ripping us off in the first place and are now giving us a big 'f*ck you' by saying if we don't keep ripping you off we'll die.

THEN I SAY: F*cking. DIE! Charge us $40-$50 for now and at least go without 'some' honour, it's inevitable. Just like one of the few sources who actually has the balls to say his name said (My thumbs up to you Kogan):

"They're too scared to admit the business model they are running is not efficient," he said. "They've rested on their laurels too long and now they can't compete with businesses who are doing things a different way."

F*cking greedy pigs. It's excuse after excuse, I can't wait until this is debunked just like the rest of their f*cking lies.

The only people who buy from these stores are people who want games quick, e.g. limited edition, people who don't know any better (than to support this horrible business practice), relatives and etc.

If there was a legitimate, easy and accessible way for relatives and people who don't know any better to give gaming related gifts in an online store, EB games and the rest of these greedy f*cking a**holes would be out of business quicker than I can say "ripoffs".

I remember in the old days (lol) there used to be parental controls on some games e.g. soldier of fortune which blocked certain content such as nudity and blood/gore. Wouldn't it great if more games had that option these days especially for parents who don't want their kids to miss out on a good game but also don't want them exposed to that sort of stuff. I know in some games there's still the option to remove blood and gore (Fallout 3?) but most of the time this lacks a parental control. Which of course causes varying problems. My solution is this: enable more parental control on games so that when a parent goes to buy a game the package/case will include an instruction pamphlet on how to setup a limited account for their child that blocks content based on the parents rules. Now if all mature games did that there wouldn't be as much of a problem.

Wait, fox news is complaining about another social media that doesn't fit into to it's "perfect" world view OMG what a surprise. Here's an idea maybe if we let fox news have it's little tantrum and just ignore it instead of wasting our time on the little anti-social media whore it will eventually go away, just like any other uber spoilt child. Go to hell fox news, wait no you'd need a soul to go there, aww too bad, just when we thought we were going to get rid of you. PS. Someone should bring back the celebrity deathmatch tv shows and video games and put fox news in them LOL!!!

Mrs. Parker makes some great points even though I think she could of referred specifically to more modern titles. But I will say that a good triple A game coming out is GOW 3 and from appereances is going to have some strong female charcters in it. Even though you may not get to play as them in the campaign it's nice to see some progress even though it's a bit late in the series. and not to mention many new rpg games series such as mass effect and even in bioshock 2 produce to me some great female charcters such as female shepard (even thought she's not default) and tali, miranda etc and in bioshock 2 your little sister, not to mention to a great extent sophia lamb who really played a great role in the game. so my final take on this is that Mrs. Parker's point would have applied more if it was produced a few years ago. but nonetheless a great review with some serious points.
