@Barighm: Saying Ubisoft is "better" than the company that has been voted one of the worst in the U.S. year after year isn't saying a whole lot :-)
EA is worse, but they are probably THE WORST of all major publishers in terms of customer satisfaction. That's not an especially high bar to aspire to.
@thescho417: Well, to be fair, Ubisoft HAS betrayed gamers time and time again. Even if the game is reasonably good, they've shown their true colors: Ubisoft is only there to make a quick buck, and they don't really care about the quality of the games or the customer's experience. Or at the very least, customers come a distant second to profit.
@BigFeef: I 100% agree on this one. Inquisition was laughably easy, and the tactical depth was akin to a kiddie pool. I loved that you could edit the AI in Origins. Companion characters are too dumb and I'd like to be able to play a party-based RPG where I could make them useful without having to explicitly tell them what to do/ pause every other second.
I think I'm going to pre-order X-com 2 today... I have a hard time seeing a way they screw that game up, even if they change nothing from the original. Also, today it's on sale for $48 on the Golden Joystick Store. http://store.goldenjoystick.com/XCOM-2
I understand making guns a little less lethal in games like this, but it was comical how many shots it took to take the health of the NPCs down. Ubisoft would have to make an extraordinarily awesome game to justify getting started with Uplay. So far nothing has even been close to convincing me to buy.
